Kalimpong
Kalimpong is a buzzing hill town with everything modern and traditional. You would find the best Bazaars selling authentic conventional and local items, an Army Golf Course, century-old flower nurseries, spectacular monasteries and some of the most famous British schools like Dr. Grahams. A day trip of Kalimpong would also cover destinations like Dupin Dara, which is an observatory point offering a stunning view of the Himalayas, the Mangal Dham Mandir, Kalimpong Arts & Craft Center and off course the Gauripur House where Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, often stayed and composed his works.
